I bet you didn’t know that Trans Am racing was once as big as NASCAR? Well I have always been a fan of the series and even raced and won Rookie of the Year in 2001 in a Corvette in the Championship – so it seemed natural for me to do a story on the history of this great American road racing tradition with the great drivers that maintain and campaign the original cars in the historic series.
