We’re thrilled to announce the premier of “World’s Fastest Car Show,” an eBay Motors original series hosted by Justin Bell (yes, racing fans, that Justin Bell).
The “World’s Fastest Car Show” is a weekly automotive adventure web show that power slides into the intersection between car culture, entertainment and sheer performance. Hosted by champion race car driver and TV personality Justin Bell, each week WFCS takes us on a wild ride — testing cars, attending events, hanging with celebrities and just having fun with the world’s coolest toys.
“It’s also the world’s first automotive web show distributed on eBay Motors, the world’s most popular automotive web site and eBay Motors Mobile, a Top Ten Lifestyle App on iTunes. The ten-minute weekly web episodes and four-minute weekly mobile episodes make for a healthy serving of auto adventure.
Season One of “World’s Fastest Car Show” runs for fifteen weeks, with twelve episodes and three “live” specials from NASCAR, IndyCar and NHRA national events.
Upcoming episodes include the latest auto news, how-to’s on drifting and gymkhana, features on muscle cars and exotics, plus interviews with Jonathan Ward and Jay Leno (yes, racing fans, that Jay Leno). And that’s just the warm-up.
Justin has been behind the wheel or in front of the camera since he started racing in 1988. He grew up in England as the son of five-time Le Mans champion Derek Bell, but Justin made his own mark on racing, winning the FIA GT2 World Championship in 1997 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1998. He also had second-place finishes in Le Mans and Daytona and a pair of SCCA Trans-Am wins. He’s raced for major car manufacturers such as Porsche, BMW, Dodge and Chevrolet.
Justin has been a TV host and pit-lane reporter for the Speed Channel since 2008, and is a correspondent for “Jay Leno’s Garage.” He was known on “The Jay Leno Show” as the driving trainer to the stars, where he took A-List celebrities through their paces on the track. In addition to working with Jay Leno’s site, Justin has built up a strong web following with his work for Motor Trend and developing his own unique brand of auto entertainment for his own website.
Justin and his family now live in Los Angeles.
