2013 Nissan GT-R Premium Edition

Never offered for sale in the U.S., the Skyline GT-R (produced 1969-73 and 1989-02) holds an almost mythical status among auto enthusiasts. The Japanese sports car dubbed “Godzilla” was a force to be reckoned with on tracks around the globe and won accolades in the global press. The car’s frequent appearance in films and video games through the 1990s only boosted its forbidden appeal. While the cars occasionally make it into the United States via the “gray market,” they are difficult or impossible to title, and police seem to relish making a spectacle of their seizure.

So, when Nissan released the GT-R to the hungry U.S. market in 2008, the luxury supercar did not disappoint. This 2013 Premium Edition looks smashing in white and is offered at a buy-it-now of $92,800 — a nice discount off the $96,820 MSRP. One owner drove it less than 3,500 miles, so it’s basically a new car. Standard equipment for 2013 includes handcrafted 545-hp twin-turbo V6, dual clutch 6-speed transmission, all-wheel-drive, Bilstein shocks, massive Brembros, 20-inch wheels and Bose audio system. Passengers in the front and rear will appreciate the deep bucket seats, as Godzilla now hits 60 mph in under three seconds.

I own this car (2013, white, black edition). It is all they say and more. You fell like an artist with the black top/streets are your easel. The ride in this car SUCKS till you are over 100 mph. Demo rides do no justice to the ability of this car. Truly tuned to race. Unless you can drive this car fast and furios, you are wasting your money.
