This ’76 Scout is being sold out of Arizona and is said to be rust-free with cold factory air conditioning. It looks very straight and unmolested, especially considering the off-road abuse most of these machines were put through. The Grenoble Green paint with white roof looks too good to be 122,800 miles and 25 years old, but is a fantastic period color combo.
Included with the truck is the manual, build sheet, and sales receipt from Aspen Motors in Flagstaff, confirming the truck’s life lived on salt-free roads. It is equipped with factory locking rear axle and dual exhaust, and the original Motorola radio still works (though the clock does not). The seats appear to have been re-done at some time and are in good condition.
If you’re looking for a capable 4×4 pickup with vintage charm and a little bit of understated quirkiness, this could be your rig. A total of 74 International Scout Terras sold on eBay Motors in the past two years, with decent examples averaging $4k to $8k. See the listing for this one here.
