1975 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40

Toyota Land Cruisers are cult vehicles, and it is easy to see why. They are amazing off-road, trusted by people on the farthest flung safaris, and they have a ruggedly handsome appearance just standing still. The FJ40 model is the icon of the Toyota truck world.

This jade green 1975 really looks the part. The seller describes a body-on restoration which focused only on what needed to be done.  Any rust was replaced with fresh metal. The paint, interior, and suspension are also new. Brakes were redone, but the engine is stock because it did not require a rebuild.

And the seller made some good choices when he rebuilt this FJ. Retaining OEM steel wheels shows a lot of character, and the military-looking soft-top is a rare sight that differentiates this truck from other FJs.  And finally, the warn winch conjures up thoughts of trying to get this thing stuck somewhere off the beaten path, just for the fun of it.
