When you think mid-engine exotic, the Maserati Bora probably isn’t the first car that comes to mind. But while it may not be quite as sexy as a Lamborghini Miura or as instantly recognizable as a Ferrari 308, the Bora offers something alongside its excellent performance that many of its high-dollar contemporaries don’t: comfortable amenities.
This one is said to be in great shape overall, with the body, paint, suspension, chrome, interior, and engine all pulled apart, restored, and reassembled. Most every angle of the car shown in the pictures is clean and new looking, with shiny red paint, smooth stainless steel roof and A-pillars, and a well-detailed engine bay. Also mentioned are many photos and substantial documentation available to those who inquire.
Only 564 Boras were produced by Maserati during the entire 1971-1978 production run, 275 of which were equipped with a 4.9L V8. A rarity to eBay Motors, only two have been sold in the past three years. Market prices are $72k for a solid example, and $85k for one in excellent condition. See this one here.
