This 1972 Skyline is a 100% legal car, according to the seller. It’s not mint—you can see some rust bubbles under the silver respray—but the mods look authentic and expensive. In its native Japan, this car would be snatched up by a collector and, very likely, tricked out in just such a fashion.
We love the fender-mounted mirrors, lowered stance, and the GTR spoiler and front lip. The lowered stance, and the three-piece wheels are utterly period-correct, and the triple 2-barrels on the L20 6-cyl is a cool touch. If this was as close as we ever came to seeing/owning/driving a true GTR, we’d feel lucky. See the listing here.
