1972 Chevrolet C-10 pickup

Classic American pickups have spiked in popularity over the past few years, and GM’s 1967-1972 C/K series has been at the front of the pack. The C/Ks have attractive overall styling set off by good color combinations and a bulletproof range of straight-six, small-block, and big-block V8 engines. They were built right as pickups started to feature car-like conveniences such as A/C and power steering, but before heated leather seats and backup sensors became must-haves. The result? A classic workhorse you can use comfortably every day, and many owners do.

The seller mentions that this short bed Custom Deluxe has spent most of its life in Tennessee and that it’s rust-free, with its original 350-ci V8 and TH350 transmission. And the combination of a half-ton short bed with factory power steering, power brakes, factory tachometer, and an FM radio is among the most desirable. In addition to that, it has the rare Highlander Package, with adds special plaid seating, tilt wheel, and woodgrain body moldings. It has 109,000 miles on the clock from new, and in 2009 was torn down and repainted in its original colors.

Bidding is at just $5,300 as of Thursday evening, so if you’re in the market for a collectible that can still earn its keep, check it out.
