1968 Plymouth GTX

by

This well documented GTX shows just 18,838 miles, which are said to actual since new. It wears a shiny repaint in correct and appealing Forest Green but is otherwise an unrestored original, complete with factory trunk mat, jack, and spare.

The standard-equipment 440/375 ”Super Commando”  and TorqueFlite automatic will do 0-60 in 6.8 seconds, and power steering keeps the Redline tires on the road. Underneath, everything looks rust-free and dry.

In 1968, at the height of the muscle car boom, Plymouth built nearly 85,000 Road Runners. The GTX was a much rarer bird by comparison, with just 14,902 hard tops produced in that same span. 687 1968-1970 Plymouth GTXs sold on eBay Motors in the past three years, with decent examples averaging $22k to $37k.
