1964 Ford Country Sedan Wagon

Vintage American wagons have a certain cool factor you just can’t find anywhere else, especially when they’re done up as custom cruisers. They’re easy to work on, they can be built into performance powerhouses, and best of all, you can take the whole family with you.

This 1964 Ford Country Sedan wagon looks great in 2002 Prowler Copper and white pearl. The seller says the car was stripped to bare metal before it was painted, and all the chrome and stainless was completely redone. The finished product is apparently laser straight, and it features flames added to the pearl roof section.

The engine is a 429-ci Ford unit, recently rebuilt, balanced, and blueprinted. The seller says the heads were ported and polished, and the engine was fitted with forged pistons, headers, and Griffin radiator with electric fans to keep it cool. A heavy duty C6 handles the shifts, and the rear end has been completely rebuilt with new bearings and seals. The suspension is dropped, and the 18×8 and 18×9.5 wheels and tires are new, and give it a mean pro-touring look. Power steering is said to work and not leak, and power disk brakes have been fitted.

A total of 45 1964 Ford wagons have sold on eBay Motors in the past two years, with average prices ranging from $7,500 to $14,000, depending on options and condition. See how this one is doing here.
